human centred design believes it really is possible to set the human spirit free at work but organizations are ecosystems of complex human interaction requiring care, therefore we need to make sense of it all

the possibilities are as unique as your organization but here's a few thoughts to get us going

/sense-making 

As your partner in discovery, together we will explore your organization’s design by simply talking and swapping stories. We will probably only take a few weeks of looking under the hood at how your team is operating. This can be done over tea and interviews. Don’t worry, I will do the write up of the roadmap we draw together.

time & cost

• 2-4 weeks, based on your team's availability
• pay what you can, for the nonprofit sector cost can become a barrier to taking that moment to think, i'm happy to partner with you to keep moving forward as you look to your budget so we can keep your momentum going, typically these types of engagements cost $2,000-$5,000

/build-out-capacity

Here’s where I come alongside you and your team to do the heavy lifting. Depending on your needs it may take a few months. This can be done through client journey mapping, internal reporting reviews, or implementation of new business tools. Your needs guide these projects. Our common goal is just to keep you and your team moving forward without interruption to your programs and services.

time & cost

• 2-6 months, based on the project needs
• quoted, so you know up front, for these projects the additional cost may require applying for grants if it's not already in the budget, i'm happy to partner with you in support of your granting application in whatever way you need, typically these types of engagements cost $7,500-$30,000

/mentoring

Ranging from a few months to a year, organization mentoring is open ended and can conclude anytime. You will not need my support at some point and this is a goal. Inclusion of food and drinks is always welcome!

time & cost

• 1-2 meetups/month, as needed
• it depends, for mentoring I find it best to be on your schedule, this means you don't have to stick with what we originally discuss, you can end this engagement with 15 days notice, typically these types of engagements cost $750-$2,000 per month
